FLORA Shepherd Mix Broomfield, CO

Meet Flora, she is a sweet dog that loves to kiss and be loved when she gets to know you. She is still getting used to living outside the shelter and would like a patient, confident owner to help show her that the world is not so bad. Flora loves to play with her foster siblings but would need a more active confident dog to help her with her fears of being outside. It would be ideal that her forever home doesn't have cats or small kids, since she plays rough and has a strong herding instinct with animals small than herself. She will get along with small confident dogs but needs to be watched since she plays rough. She would to best in a house with a fenced in backyard, ideally a 6ft privacy fence since she can jump when she gets the zoomies. She is house trained and will use the bathroom outside or will use puppy pads. Inside the house, she is most comfortable in her crate and eats her meals in there as well, since her foster sister is protective over food. We are still working on getting her used to going out in the front yard but have not been able to go for walks yet. When she gets comfort in her surrounding, she just wants to be loved and to love her forever family in return. Come meet little miss Flora on Saturdays at the adoption event.
