Fletcher Pit Bull Terrier & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Springfield, MO

As I turn the page on my life's story, I am ready for a new beginning. I'm Fletcher, a 58 pound, 6 year old Pit Bull Terrier mix who escaped impending euthanasia thanks to Rescue One! I’m a bit of a shy guy who’s slowly learning to come out of my shell. But now that I’m settling in, I’m starting to play more, especially with my same-sized foster sister. I’m super gentle when I play—no growling or roughhousing, just some open-mouth play and rolling around. I’ll even join in a game of tug-of-war with toys, though I’m not really into playing with toys or chewing bones on my own just yet. I’m housebroken, crate-trained, and good on a leash. A couple of my favorite activities are walks and car rides. I would make a great buddy too!

I’m a bit of an escape artist, so I’ll need a home with a privacy fence since I’ve been known to jump chain-link fences. I love to show off my trick of shaking with both paws. I would love to find a family who has another dog and a couple of kids to play with. My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
