"Fiona, a lively two-year-old shepherd mix, had an exciting weekend full of firsts! She started unsure about car rides but quickly learned to love them, hopping in with excitement by the end of the weekend. At her weekend home, she was welcomed by a kind woman and treated like a superstar with a trip to Petland for toys and treats.
Fiona enjoyed fun outings, including the dog park, where she couldn’t contain her excitement, and St. Vital Mall, where she charmed everyone she met. Back at home, she proved to be a dream guest, loving belly rubs, sleeping soundly in her own space, and waking her hosts gently when needed.
Her weekend parents couldn’t stop gushing about her sweet, playful, and well-mannered nature. As the weekend ended, Fiona rested on her blanket, dreaming of finding her forever family soon!"

"We had the pleasure of taking Fiona out for her second Doggie Date over Christmas, giving her a much-needed break from the shelter. She quickly became part of the family—loving car rides, making tons of new friends at the dog park, and greeting every human with warmth and joy. Fiona is fantastic with big dogs, good with small ones (though she needs reminders to slow down), and fiercely loyal to those she loves. It broke our hearts to bring her back to the shelter. Fiona is a snuggle bug and a gentle soul who deserves the very best. Could you be her forever family?"
