FROM THE FOSTER: My name is Fila, but I am still getting used to my new name. I am very scared and timid of strangers but I do eventually warm up to you once I know I can trust you. Loud noises and sudden movements are very scary for me.
My foster mom tries to walk me on a leash but I just don't like it. I think I just need more time to adjust. I would love a fenced in yard where I can run and play and be myself.
I would do best in a nice quiet home where there aren't young kids as sometimes they make me nervous. I don't mind cats or dogs, honestly, they're kind of scary to me, and I prefer to stay away from them. I do enjoy my kennel! I am quiet and don't have any accidents. Once I've warmed up to you, I love to have my belly rubbed and will jump up on your lap to give you kisses! I'm looking for someone that has the time and patience to help me learn that even though a lot of things are scary to me, I don't have to be scared anymore.
