The first step is to complete an adoption application via our website, www.cofas.org (click on Adoption Information, Available Dogs, Dog Adoption Application). All of our adoptable animals are in foster homes. A meeting can be arranged for approved applicants.

Once we have reviewed your application we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Adorable Fig was surrendered along with her Mom and 4 siblings when their previous owner was not able to care for them.

Fig is the smallest of the littler but has a big out going personality and is a ball of energy. She is so cute! She loves her toys and lots of attention.
Fig is looking like a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix and currently almost 5lbs at 12 weeks old

She is looking for a new home that does not have children under 9 years old (they scare her a bit) or large dogs.


Just an FYI - Chihuahua's have an average life span of about 15 to 20 years.
