Hi! My name is Fern and I am so excited to have the chance to find my happily ever after home! I was found tied up outside Chicago Animal Care and Control with my best friend Ephraim. I faired better at CACC and didn’t get sick but Chicagoland Dog Rescue helped me find a wonderful foster home where I have been thriving! I am living with two fur foster sisters and we get along great! I am quite frankly smitten with my foster family’s grandson and enjoy snuggling with him as much as I can! I do have excellent home life skills, am very sweet and affectionate, and will make a great addition to a family with older kids, a single person, or even a couple looking for a couch buddy! And if you are looking to add 2 dogs to your life, Ephraim is my bestie! **The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $400-450.00, which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***
