Meet Farrah
Farrah Pawcett is a retired super model who lived a wild life when she was young, and it shows!! She is now in her retirement years and looking for a soft place to sleep and a human to follow around.
She may look like a child’s drawing of a dog, but trust us, she is a real life pup looking for her forever family! And anyone would be lucky to have this underbite in their life!!!
We don’t know much about her background but she was abandoned at a shelter and she is about 10 years old. She has a big belly to prove she wasn’t a stray. She is very calm and likes to hang out near her foster family but doesn’t seek out attention. She does, however, follow 2ft behind her foster dad EVERYWHERE he goes!!!
She seems to have some level of visual impairment and hearing loss but she can navigate the house just fine. She can hear loud noises but has limited reaction/acknowledgment of average noises.
It also appears that she is mostly housebroken. When we are home, she tells us when she wants to go outside and IMMEDIATELY does her business and trots back in the house. When she is home alone, she is a little less reliable (likely because she doesn’t love being left alone).
She is absolutely fine (indifferent) with other dogs but she does NOT like being separated from them when no humans are home. Generally, she does not like being left home alone. She doesn’t bark (we have never actually heard her bark!!!) but whines and paces around her pen for a bit before calming down. Because of this, we are looking for a home that has at least one other calm dog and someone home most of the time or willing to bring her along on adventures. Because she is easily startled we think she will do best in a home with no children under 10.
This little furry potato will be the best addition to a calm family looking for a caricature of a dog to liven up their life!!
