Meet Fancy

Famale, 2 years old, 57 lbs.

Personality: gentle, affectionate, loyal, easygoing, and snuggler.

Do you fancy a snuggly, well-mannered canine with a warm personality? Well then, Fancy is ready to steal your heart with her blend of mellow and sassy traits! She's a very good girl who possesses impeccable leash manners.

Fancy's foster reports that her energy level is the perfect balance between Energizer Bunny and couch potato. She will eagerly greet all your guests and lap up all the petting she can get.

She's quite playful and popular with other dogs, and was recently crowned prom queen at the dog park. When it comes to other species, she appeared unphased by the cats she encountered at the vet's office.

Fancy is a foodie who will alert you when she's hungry -- she even knows the word kibble. She does great in the crate and has made tremendous progress on house training. Are you ready to fill your life with fun, love and cuteness? Apply today to meet Fancy!

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).

Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.

Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
