Meet Evie
Evie
4yr old Bullmastiff mix
Hello future forever family,
My name is Evie and I am an adult, spayed, female, tan Mastiff X between 3.5 and 4 years old.
My foster Mom says I'm super amazing! I haven't had any accidents inside and I always go outside to do my business. I sit beside the door when I need to go out. I sleep the whole night through in my crate. I even stay in there for short times when my foster goes out. I am timid of new people but warm up super fast. I might cry a bit when you leave when I'm in my crate but a frozen Kong keeps me occupied and I quickly settle.
I LOVE cuddles. Especially if it's on the couch next to you. I am super respectful and don't climb up unless I am invited. I have my own doggy bed to lay on and I really like that. I learn very quickly and am very food motivated. I just want a family to love so I'm eager to please. I know lots of commands already like sit, stay, wait, lay down, off, up, roll over, speak and drop it. Mom says I understand a lot more words than I let on. I love meeting new friends. I want to say hello to every doggo I meet. I am good with slow introductions as I guess some other puppers are intimidated by my size and dark face. I have met a 'cat' but wasn't really interested because it spit at me. I have seen rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks and skunks and wasn't interested in them. I guess I don't have a prey drive, but I hear that is good. My favourite thing to do is to lay outside and watch everything! I love all the sniffs in the grass and would prefer to live somewhere that has a yard for me. I currently live in an apartment but can't seem to figure out the height thing. I am working on my leash walking. It's a work in progress as I want to watch everything and meet every puppers so I sometimes forget I'm a big strong girl. I absolutely LOVE car rides, and like to stick my face out the window and sniff the wind. I sit patiently for my foster mom to put my car harness on and am a super sweet and quiet girl.
I have been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped, and treated with Simparica trio. I am so excited to meet you soon.
The adoption fee is $600 and includes spay/neuter (dogs over 6 months), vaccines, heartworm test (dogs over 6 months), deworming, Flea and tick prevention and microchip. Please visit www.paws-united.com to fill out an application.

Unless otherwise stated we will not even consider a home that has intentions of leaving our dogs outdoors or tied to a chain**
***We do require every applicant to provide a vet reference and we do follow up with your vet. If you do not currently have a vet as you have no pets, we strongly encourage you to do your research and contact vets to make sure they are accepting new patients. You must have a vet in place before bringing a new dog home. You will be required to give your vet permission to release information to us, we also require two personal references as well that will be contacted. We have policy and procedure in place while screening homes. If a family refuses any step in the process they will not qualify for adoption.
