SATURDAY, JAN. 18, from 12-3 PM: Dog adoption event at PETSMART in Olathe (119th & Strang Line) with Heart of America Humane Society. We’ll have several dogs there looking for homes!
SATURDAY, JAN. 18 from 12-3PM: Come see us at our PUPPIES & KITTENS ADOPTION EVENT at BASS PRO SHOP at THE LEGENDS located at 10300 Cabela Drive, KC Kansas 66111. We’ll have many pets available for adoption.

ESPRESSO is a super cute Pit Bull mix! He is 5 years old. He gets the biggest goofiest grin just enjoying the smallest things in life. He knows how to brighten everyone’s day. He is such a fun friendly guy that loves to play! He loves toys, it’s one of his favorite things. Espresso is good with dogs and previously lived with cats. He also loves children. He keeps his kennel clean, loves his walks, and rides perfect in the car. He's a very affectionate boy and he thinks he is a lap dog! He really wants a family of his own that will love him and spoil him the way he deserves!!
ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
