Meet Esme

This is Esme. She came to SK Animal Shelter as a stray. She is about 85 pounds and we suspect that she is 3+ years old. She is very smart and goofy at the same time. She has been tested, vaccinated, and spayed since she came to SK Animal Shelter. We think that she is Pointer and Shep mix. She chases birds and large bees out of her kennel and can often be seen pointing. She has a prey drive and would be best as an only pet. She loves her food and treats. She has been eating dry food mixed with hot water. She is housebroken. She enjoys slurping water from the tap. She has shown us that she can follow direction/commands. She loves walks or just hanging out by you. She is nosey and loves to investigate, but she is just content to be your best friend. She has been at the shelter for a long time.
