Esme melted our hearts when she arrived from a rural shelter in NC, where she was found with her mom, completely alone and lacking human contact. Despite her shyness, her sweet and playful soul yearns for a patient and loving home to help her blossom. Her mom, a hound mix around 40lbs, gives us hints about her future size, expected to be between 55-65lbs. At 17 weeks old, Esme is primed for adoption to a family who understands her needs and is committed to building trust. Esme is fully crate trained and doing very well with her potty training!
Esme adores playing with other dogs and enjoys prancing around the backyard. While she's a bit shy with new people, she longs to shower someone with love once she trusts them. Esme is the picture of beauty with her long legs and graceful movement; she's gorgeous and she knows it! She enjoys playtime with other dogs, lounging in the dog bed while chewing a toy, and any kind of puzzle toy you can give her! Did we mention Esme LOVES food!?!
