Meet Esme

Esme

Female, 1-2 years old, Terrier mix, 20lbs

Esme is a bundle of love! She was originally found as a stray in Mexico with her young pup, where they frequented a local restaurant trying to score free handouts. Her pup has since been adopted, but now Esme is looking for her forever home! She loves to cuddle, enjoys going on walks, and likes to get her zoomies out playing games in the yard. She would do best in a home without cats because she loves to chase! She is currently showing reactivity to other dogs, but we think with some professional training, she could learn to be less reactive. Esme demonstrates strong terrier characteristics; she is smart, brave, has a big personality and is stubborn when she wants to be! Her ideal home would be with someone who has experience working with this type of dog. Esme has been through a lot in her short life so far, her new family will need to understand that and help her learn to navigate her new life, allowing her to be the best dog she can be!
