Meet Ernie-Adoption Pending
MY STORY: Ernie came to CBHS as a stray.
AGE: Approximately 3 years old.
Meet Ernie!
Ernie is a timid dog who struggles a bit in the shelter environment. He is a bit slow to trusting new people, and can sometimes have a "stranger danger" type reaction to new people. If given a chance he does warm up very quickly and will want to be your best friend. He's a good boy, he's just not sure whats going on. Ernie would do best in a home without small children, as he may be a bit nervous around them. When he warms up to you though, he is a happy and silly boy who loves attention.
Since Ernie was a stray, it is unknown if he has ever lived with other animals. He seems to enjoy having doggy friends though. He should meet any other dogs in the home prior to adoption, just to make sure they can be the best of friends.
