Meet Ernie

Darling little Ernie is just under a yr old and weighs 12lbs. He has the face of a miniature pincher and has an adorable underbite and body shape of a Pug. But we don’t really know what he is. What we do know is that he’s a somewhat timid boy that takes a few days before he fully opens up. Even if he’s feeling insecure, he still likes to cuddle with his foster mom and burrow down into the blankets when he sleeps with her and his foster siblings. Another small playful dog in the home is required to help build his trust and confidence. He is already house trained and he’s fine in a crate, too. He is still a bit nervous when walking on a leash but with more practice and a little patience, he’ll be a great walking companion in no time. Because he does get nervous with too much activity in the home, kids must be over 12yrs old. A fenced yard is also required.
