Emmy Mixed Breed Trumansburg, NY

Emmy, along with her sister Ellie came to our rescue is a 12 week old puppy of unknown heritage. Emmy is a wonderfully cheerful, inquisitive little gal, and can be very mischievous and silly. She really enjoys being held and cuddled and will make a delightful family member. We require the following for our puppies when rehoming them - we hold firm on the following:

- A fenced in yard where the puppy can romp and play freely within the confines of a safe space. No invisible fences or tie outs.
-A human home during most of the day creating a presence to guide house training and general manners. It will be many weeks before Emmy will be ready to be left unattended for more than 2-3 hours.
- No toddlers. Puppies have sharp teeth and nails and lack body awareness
- Another dog in the home that is patient and kind would be a plus

Emmy's adoption fee is $375 plus a fully refundable neutering fee of $75.00. Emmy will need to be spayed by 8 mos of age as required by NYS law. She is current on her vaccines and will be appropriately wormed.

Upon receipt of an approved application, we conduct a telephone interview and schedule a meet/greet. A home visit then follows as well as a veterinary reference check. Applicants must reside within a 50 mile radius of Ithaca, NY or in the Rochester area.
