Emma Pointer Mix Wilder, VT

With extra love, care, and guidance from her amazing foster family in Jericho, VT, and kind donations to cover the cost of her medical care, EMMA has fully recovered from surgery to fix a subluxating patella and is currently in search of a forever home. Emma just turned one year, a nice size at 35 lbs, and is a mixed breed rescued from a neglectful situation in Costa Rica as a young puppy.

Despite a rough beginning, Emma loves loves being with her people and the companionship of other dogs. As you can see, she is wonderful with children. She also lives with cats, is potty trained, crate trained, and has nice house manners. If you are looking for a companion who enjoys the great outdoors, she would love to join you for a leisurely walk, soaking up some sunshine, jumping in the fall leaves, and romping in the snow. Then she is ready to cuddle up with you on the couch for a movie or an afternoon nap!
