Emily Labrador Retriever Warrington, PA

Emily is a 5.5 ish month old chocolate lab puppy. She is always on the move! She loves to play with anything that squeaks and chew anything she can find. She also loves to "retrieve" whatever she can - wether that be a shoe (she loves uggs), or a potato from the potato basket. She thinks anything she finds is hers and makes it a game trying to get whatever the item is back. Emily is very independent and definitely the dominant dog of our household, we have a resident lab and mixed sharpei as well as 2 cats and she makes it known she is in charge. She has a lot of energy and needs constant play time and exercise. She loves fetching the ball outside and can do that for about a half hour before she gets tired, then will sit with you on the couch or on her bed for a bit chewing on an antler or stuffie toy. She loves the toys we have that light up too, but her favorite is anything that squeaks. Emily is good with other dogs but does get a bit rough at times especially when our dogs are uninterested in playing (ie. jumping, biting ears). Emily is crate trained and sleeps throughout the night, and needs a few naps during the day but she is out of the crate the majority of the time. Someone is always home with her and she needs constant eyes on her! She is just starting to find her bark, she is slowly starting to bark more but not excessively. She also mimics the sounds our resident lab makes (grumbling with a toy, it's cute and funny). Emily does jump sometimes, and is a huge counter surfer - it's going to take a lot of training for her to become the perfect dog but she has so much potential and is such a sweetheart!
