Meet Emilia "Milly"!

Emilia is a gorgeous Beagle mix who is looking for her forever! 

This sweet girl is a loves to cuddle with her people. She loves to go on walks, and walks well on a leash. However, she has shown reactivity to certain dogs while on a leash - but, we can help you with this during training!

Emilia is house and crate trained, and while she's downright adorable, she does have her quirks. She's possessive of her people, space, and food, so she'd thrive best in a home as the only furbaby or with an assertive, yet non-reactive dog who can guide her in addition to a patient person who's willing to use muzzle training to work through her guarding behaviors. The guarding behavior have only been towards other animals, not people. She is a rough player when playing with other dogs, so again, the right playmate is important and she is not a good fit for children under 10. 

Emilia dislikes being crated and will vocalize her displeasure, so she's seeking a home where crating isn't necessary for many hours, ideally with someone who works from home or has a secure outdoor space/mud room/laundry room for her to hang out in while they're away.

Emilia is a gorgeous girl. She has a beautiful, soulful eyes and the cutest face. She's very expressive, and her face will make you want to give her countless kisses! BREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.

Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care.  As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.

***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.
