Meet Emilia "Milly"
Calling a special Beagle lover that’s looking for their one and only!
This pretty girl is Emily aka “Milly”. She’s an 8-month-old Beagle mix. Although a a sweet, beautiful, and intelligent pup, she has some quirks that has made it hard to find her perfect situation.
Milly is WONDERFUL with people. She loves humans and wants nothing more than to be loved on and cuddle. She is fiercely dedicated to her people and is very loyal. Although she loves to wrestle and play with other dog friends, Milly needs to be an only pet in the home due to resource guarding (to dogs and cats) of her people, food and toys and sometimes leash reactivity to other dogs. She also has anxiety when crated and will bark for a while until she finally settles after a good 20 minutes or so and naps. However, she has never escaped the crate or tried to get out.
She is currently in foster care with our President who has other dogs and cats, making it very difficult for her not to be crated more often than she or anyone would like.
We are desperate to find Milly a situation that is good for her. She is sweet as can be when she’s an only pet and loves her people without bounds. She loves to cuddle and has such a zest for life.
