Meet Emil
On Sunday March 3rd our deputy was called out to W Earle Ave on the South Side of Youngstown to pick up an injured dog. He was immediately taken to Medvet for care. Sadly no one came looking for him.
Many days later the tissue around the wound started to die. He had to spend a full day at the vet so that they could sedate him, trim the dead tissue away and suture the wound closed.
With no one stepping up to claim him and take care of his medical needs, Friends Of Fido MCDP was his hero. If not for them he would be in dire straits.
The good news is that he was rescued from the streets and has been given the absolute best care. Next we need to find him a home and a family.
Emil appears to possibly a sharpei/pit bull type mix
Approx 1 1/2 yrs old
Dog friendly
Kids and cats unknown
He is playful and happy and has a silly personality. Toys are his absolute favorite thing! He is medium energy and quite a patient well behaved boy.
