Meet Elvis! Elvis came to CCHS when he was found as a stray near Sherwood Road by a local resident who was out hunting. He was very lucky to be found, as he was having some issues, well, with his private parts. :-) His penis was sticking out a whole lot farther than it should have been! Our Vet was able to get things back in place where they should be, and Elvis has recovered very well. He is about 6 months old, weighs 25#, and has now been neutered. Elvis is a friendly boy who is socially outgoing. He likes to greet visitors at the Shelter and is hoping to find a new forever home soon. The adoption fee is $300. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
