Meet Elsie
This beautiful lady is Elsie!
Elsie is an approximately 22-month old female Samoyed/Shepherd mix and weighs around 33 lbs. She was rescued as a stray abandoned in the country.
Elsie is a confidant, happy, friendly girl! She is friendly with most other dogs, cats, children, and adults alike! She is an active girl and will need a home that can give her plenty of exercise and attention. A VERY secure stockade fence is required! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Elsie really doesn't play with toys but does like the company of other dogs, so another dog in the home would be ideal, but she would be fine as an only dog if given plenty of attention and exercise. She has also done very well with the cats in the foster home. But, as with any new dog in a cat home, it is best to crate the dog when left alone with the cats, until you are sure that they get along together.
Elsie is not a fan of crates and has been left out on her own at the foster home, but she is okay crated for short periods of time. She is great on a leash and is house-trained. She is also excellent in the car.
Elsie is spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.
