Elmo Labrador Retriever Mix Pacific, MO

Elmo is one of the newer residents at Dirks Fund. He came to us from a shelter where his time was getting short. He had a family, but they were moving, and they left him at a shelter that euthanizes when they run out of space. We all have feelings about that, but please keep comments positive and supportive of Elmo.

Elmo is a 6 year old Lab mix weighing around 65-70 lbs. He has a great personality and gets along with everyone. His transporter, pictured here, said he rode like a champ. He’s a mellow guy, house trained, mannerly, and will make a great addition to the lucky family who adopts him, and he so deserves a great forever family!

Applicants must have a securely fenced yard that encloses a door to the home. Fence must be a minimum of 4 feet high. No invisible fences. Applicants will be screened, including a home visit.

If you would like to meet Elmo, complete an application at dirksfund.com. All members of the family must come to meet him, including other dogs. Kids must be old enough to understand how to properly interact with dogs. Other dogs in the home must be current on vaccinations and altered.

Adoption hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 10 to 2. Pacific, MO.
