Meet ELLIE MAY
Ellie May is a 3 year-old heeler mix who is looking for her forever home in Austin, Texas.
She is an extremely loyal dog and will follow her human around the house. She is also protective of her owner, and will growl and bark at strangers, until she realizes they are not strangers. This could take a few months for some people.
Treats help her warm up faster, but, once she gets to know you, Ellie will want to be with you all the time. This 64-pound girl is also good with kids, cats, and other dogs. She will need to go to a home with another dog; she has been around dogs her whole life. She is an inside dog and must be part of the family and she loves sleeping in bed with you.
We are looking for a sweet family with another dog and a fenced in backyard (6 foot minimum) who can give Ellie May lots of love and play with her in the backyard and take her on walks.
