Ellie Border Collie Mix Cedar Rapids, IA

Hi! My names Ellie. I’m about 8 weeks old (early February) and I am a border collie mix. Life started out a little rough as I was found on a farm in a styrofoam box with my 7 other siblings. Life’s been much better since and I’m in foster with one of my brothers, Jet. I might be smaller than him but I love to wrestle and sneak attack! I also love to play with the big dogs in the house. I give the senior dogs kisses and love to play tug-of-war with the younger dogs. I’m also figuring out these things called cats. They don’t like to play so I just follow them around.

I’m an outdoorsy kinda girl. My favorite things are leaves! I always have a leaf to carry around. I’m a little shy at trying new things and watch my brother Jet first, but once I figured it out I’m unstoppable and love to lead! I’m working on basic commands and potty training. I’m still little so I’ll need some time, but I’m super smart. I definitely know when it’s meal time and will sit and go to the kennel to eat.
