Ellie Mixed Breed Trumansburg, NY

Ellie and her sister, Emmy are 12 week old puppies of unknown heritage. Ellie is curious, bold, outgoing, and fun loving. She will need lots of guidance on her journey to becoming a wonderful friend and companion. She is in excellent health and is expected to be a medium sized dog, perhaps reaching around 50 lbs. She is currently in a wonderful foster home where she is learning appropriate behaviors in a home. Please read our requirements for Ellie's new home - we stand firm on these:

- Someone with her during the day to assist her in house training and life skills.
- A fenced in yard where she can run and romp safely confined
- No toddlers - Ellie has sharp nails and teeth and loves to run into humans
- Cats are an unknown
- No big aggressive dogs. Another tolerant dog would help Ellie learn good social skills.

Ellie's adoption fee is $375 and a fully refundable neutering fee of $75 is also required. Ellie will need to be spayed by 8 mos of age according to NYS law. She has received her first vaccine for distemper and parvo and will be appropriately wormed.

A telephone interview and meet/greet is scheduled after an approved application is received as well as a veterinary reference. Applicants must reside within 50 miles of Ithaca, NY or in the Rochester area so that we can do a required home visit prior to final transfer of our puppy.
