Elizabeth Hound & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Bellingham, WA

The Park Pups came to AHS after living outside with their mama during the recent cold snap. They are a coon hound/pitbull mix, which give them all the wrinkles AND all the ears!

Elizabeth, named after Elizabeth Park, is always the belle of the ball with visitors, and everyone says she would be their pick if they were in the market for a puppy. She is oh so sweet and snuggly, happy to climb right into your lap and arms for a cuddle and snooze. Elizabeth is smaller than her brothers, but that doesn't keep her from joining in on the fun and games- she can take care of herself just fine! Indeed, she is often the instigator, sneaking up to pounce on her brothers or steal one of their treasures for a game of chase. She loves the outdoors and really comes alive when she has the space to run and explore. Elizabeth has been known to snore, but never admits it- she just blames her brothers.

Elizabeth has been fostered with dogs ranging from 30-60lb, and she has tried very hard to become friends with her very tolerant foster sisters. She has had the chance to be curious about cats, and has lived with 9 and 12 year old kids. Elizabeth would love to be your best friend, at your side all the time, or she would love to pal around with an older, playful dog who can take her under their wing.

These cute and cuddly pups are almost 12 weeks old (born on 12/17/24), have received their first round of vaccines, and are ready to melt hearts. These pups will need to be signed up for a basic obedience class prior to being adopted.
