Meet Eddy
5 year old sweet poodle mix Eddy had a life full of neglect when his owner passed and he was taken in by a family member who did not care for him. Finally, he was surrendered to our rescue and he has been in a wonderful foster home where he is learning to be loved and letting his foster mom take care of him.
Eddy is a sweet, calm boy, who is indifferent to other dogs or his foster kitty sibling. He loves to be petted and loves to snuggle up to you. He loves people, and loves being a lapdog.
He does have mild separation anxiety and therefore a retired parent or someone who works from home will be the right fit for him. He is recovering from dermatitis he developed due to neglect. His hair has grown back and he is gaining weight.
Eddy is 5 years old, 15 lb, housebroken, current on shots, neutered and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative and is kept on flea and heartworm preventative.
Eddy is currently being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. His adoption fee includes his transport cost in the States.
