Echo Beagle Fond Du Lac, WI

Welcome the Beagle brigade to Lucky Dog Small Breed Rescue!! All three boys are 6 months old and are nearly identical in size and coloration. We have Chief (40lbs), Halo (36lbs) and Echo (34lbs). At this point just Echo is looking for his forever home. The boys are local owner surrenders from a professional rabbit hunter/ beagle breeder in Wisconsin. The owner decided to get out of the breeding business and keeping the puppies outside. Just as the arctic temps showed up the beagles were rescued!
The boys are very friendly and social but can shy away from fast movements. They have adjusted to home living very well. They seek out affection and enjoy petting. They come from a long line of hunters and are very eager to please. We do not wish for them to be outside dogs. They are to be adopted as indoor dogs only and only one dog per home. All three dogs do well with the other dogs in the house. With their bloodline in rabbit hunting having small animals in their forever homes should not be considered. All three boys are working on housetraining and are cratetrained. The boys like to follow their foster mom around the house and is always waiting for her to sit down. They all love to cuddle up at their foster families feet for petting and snuggles. The all have voices and howls but are not barky unless it is to alert. They do quiet quickly. They have individual adoption fees which include all vaccinations (rabies, dhlpp and bordetella), microchip with lifetime registration to the rescue, flea/tick prevention, deworming, 4dx test for heartworm and 3 tick borne illnesses, neuter scheduled for 2/1, full health exams, health certificates, transport from Texas, collar, harness, leash, 6 months of heartworm prevention and premium dog food to get them started in their new homes.
