MY STORY:
Who doesn’t love a big, fluffy dog?! Echo has been such a wonderful dog to care for at our facility. Echo is always smiling and happily bounds out of his pen anytime the door is opened to run out to the play area and say hello to all the other dogs and people in the building. Many of our volunteers have commented that Echo is great on walks! From day one, Echo has been excited to go for walks and our volunteer walkers say he doesn’t pull, and walks very nice. In his pen, Echo is a toy fiend! If he sees toys in his neighbors’ pens, he will reach through the fencing and pull them into his own pen. His favorite toys are stuffed toys – but beware, he will destuff them immediately! But he sure has a great time doing it. He also loves chewing on bones in his pen and will quietly lay on his bed and keep busy by himself. Echo likes to play with his neighbor, Nicky, and they especially love to wrestle and chase after each other in our playpen. Echo loves going outside (even in cold weather), but also is very content inside. Echo knows how to sit, and never ever has potty accidents in his pen. He is very well-behaved and will be a spectacular addition to someone’s life!
From his foster. Echo is very gentle and patient. He sleeps well in his crate and never has messes in his crate. In the morning, he waits for you get the leash and ready to walk him before standing up to get out of his crate. He loves to cuddle and never jumps on anyone. When echo is excited, he jumps in a circle or hops like a bunny. He is very chill for a husky. He doesn’t bark but will howl at ambulances. He is great with other dogs and kids. He loves his humans and prefers to be right by their side.
ADOPTION FEE: $450
To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION.
Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
