Dukie German Shepherd Dog La Salle, IL

We learned that Dukie resource guards in his home and wants all the food, toys and bones for himself and doesn't want to share. Resource guarding can be managed by identifying what he resources he guards and eliminating what is possible (e.g. a specific toy or bone), picking up toys, feeding him separately from other animals or visiting a trainer for help. Resource guarding is a natural behavior and just because Dukie resource guards, doesn't mean he isn't deserving of a loving home! It's just a behavior his future family needs to be aware of to manage correctly. Dukie is a 3 year old playful dog who is good with dogs and cats and loves to play! He has a playful and jolly spirit and is a medium sized German Shepherd mix.

Adoption fees are $250 which includes spay or neuter, vaccines- Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella, AVID microchip and County Rabies Tag. Seniors- over 8 fee is $125.
