DUKE - Perfect hiking buddy! Chocolate Labrador Retriever & Husky Mix Concord, NH

Please meet Duke! If you're looking for a buddy to take on hikes and adventures, this might be your boy! He was taken into rescue from the local animal control facility as a young puppy and is receiving lots of TLC in foster care.

Duke is 8 months old and weigh in at 34 pounds. His breed is a best guess, but we think he's a chocolate lab/husky mix. Don't you love those beautiful blue eyes? He is a happy, energetic boy who would love an active family that will keep him busy learning and take him on adventures.. He currently spends most of his time outside at his foster home and will need some inside training, but he's smart, eager to please, and will learn quickly. A home where there is someone to keep him company during the day would be best. .

This happy boy loves everyone he meets. There is a 6 year old boy in his foster home and he's good with him. With his puppy energy, kids in his family should be at least that old.. His playful exuberance might overwhelm younger ones. He gets along great with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to play with and show him the ropes. He's okay with cats, but may decide to play a game of chase sometimes...lol.

Duke is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date with vaccinations. his doggy bag is packed and he can't wait to hear that he'll soon be headed for his forever home.
