Good day!
My name is Duke! I am a Purebred American Staffordshire Terrier at just 5 years old.
My foster mom has known me for years! She was my sitter when my family would go out of town. Unfortunately, my past family loved me very much but could not figure out my skin issues. I came into rescue about 8 months ago, and my now foster mom has worked really hard with my specialist to get me back into amazing shape. And she did a great job if I do say so myself!
My foster mom would describe me as BOMB proof, meaning I am great with all dogs , cats , and humans , especially the tiny small ones . I love to get on a motorcycle or car and go places with family. I am fabulous at the vet. In fact, the vet has to get kisses every time I go, along with the rest of her staff. I am extremely calm and sometimes I will fall asleep in another room and they have to find me. I know how to sit, shake, lay down, and I take my treat so so so gentle. So I'm not only a handsome devil, I'm smart as a whip and sweet as pie !
Duke is looking for a home that will love him and dote on him. He is so easy and wonderful. A perfect dog with a fantastic personality.
