Here’s what Duke’s foster mom has to say about him:

“Meet Duke, a 1-year-old chocolate Labrador Retriever, with a heart as big as his paws. Duke is a rescue pup with a heart of gold and a bark that will melt your heart. Duke loves playing fetch with frisbee and balls in the yard and but also loves cuddling on the couch with his favorite humans and his foster sister Summer.

If Duke had a wish list of wants in his ideal home, it would include walks daily or a yard to run in, a comfy large dog bed, and also lots of kisses and attention from his humans. Only 1 issue, Duke may fall asleep during a movie so don’t count on him to stay awake.

Duke gets along with other pups and is amazing with kids of all ages! Beware, he may slobber a wet kiss on you. Duke is currently working on his manners but has a good role model to learn from in his current home. Duke is house and crate trained. Don’t miss out on this fun, loving, chocolatey, pup. He is for sure a good catch. You don’t want to miss out!”

He knows a few commands but is a typical young dog who needs to learn basic obedience and manners. While he’s great with kids, he doesn’t know his size. Because of these things, a home with kids over 8 years would be best.
