Dug Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Springfield, MO

Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Dug, a 4-year-old, Australian Cattle Dog Heeler mix boy. At 45 pounds, I'm the perfect size to hug you forever.

I'm new to this 'living the good life' thing, but I've caught on amazingly quickly! I rarely have a potty accident, I'm good in my kennel and I walk well on a leash. I'm good with cats, and likely kids (although I haven't met any recently). I get excited for other dogs, but I am a little competitive for hugs from my people... I just love you too much! I would do best with a slow intro to one or two polite dog friends who are relaxed, and don't mind my third-wheeling antics :)

I reeeeeeally love my people, so older kids who enjoy doggy cuddles would probably be good.

A fenced yard would be a bonus, but it's not a necessity, as long as I get daily walks. Need an over-the-road companion? I might fit that bill, too. It seems that I'm pretty adaptable. I guess it's because this love stuff is new and I just can't get enough.

My adoption fee is $150, which includes my neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, negative heartworm test, and my microchip!
