Meet Drifter

Hello! My name is Drifter. I was running on my own for months in the town of Rocky Mount when my family moved away and left me behind. I was just a puppy, and they had left my collar on me, and as I grew, my collar became imbedded into my neck. I am so thankful Animal Control was able to build my trust and bring me in to be cared for.

Due to my abandonment history, I have separation anxiety. I will need to learn that you will come back home for me, but once I earn your trust, I am the most behaved and lovable boy.
