Dr. Tabitha Silvermoon Labrador Retriever Mix Raleigh, NC

Hello? It's the doctor calling, Dr. Tabitha Silvermoon that is! Dr. Tabitha is a sweet 5 years old lab that came in as a stray. She has a gorgeous black coat, with some beautiful white and grey mixed in on her belly. When she's standing, her cute paws make it look as if she's wearing fuzzy socks!

During playgroups, Dr. T was good at providing corrections for playmates when their actions were inappropriate. Otherwise, she is a low-key girl who will engage in appropriate and respectful interactions with the other dogs.

When you walk by her kennel she is calm, and will enjoy interacting with you when you come in. Dr. Tabitha is easy to collar and walks well on her leash. She enjoys playing and rolling in the grass and laying in the sun! Volunteers enjoy interacting with Dr. Tabitha and think she would make an outstanding addition to any home.

The doctor is in and ready to see you!

Although she is heartworm positive, it is treatable and not contagious. Friends of Wake County Animal Center has provided a $400 sponsorship to help cover the cost of treatment.

Dr. Tabitha is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be spayed prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
