Dot Belgian Shepherd / Malinois Mix Houston, TX

This gorgeous girl is Dot. Dot was found extremely thin and roaming a schoolyard. She wasn't thrilled with rescuers presence, but the food they offered won out over her fear and she was brought to the safety of rescue.

We think Dot is a Belgian Malinois mix and approx 4 years old. She is a stunning girl and extremely smart! Dot is timid when meeting new people and can be pretty vocal but has not shown any aggression at all. She does do better with women than men, but once she knows she is safe she warms up and is very affectionate.

Dot is medium energy, she doesn't chew, doesn't get into things, she likes to play ball and she loves to snuggle. She is treat motivated and willing to learn new things.
We think with some leash work she could make a great walking/running buddy! She is house and crate trained, and does well will kids 12+.

Dot is great with dogs her size with proper introduction. She LOVES to play. However, she still has a lot of puppy in her and can play a little rough. So she needs a patient playmate. Dot has not been around small dogs or cats, but has shown some prey drive. So a home with no small critters would be best!

Dot is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. She is willing to relocate for her perfect home.

Dot is fostered in Houston, Texas. She is available for adoption locally or can be transported to an approved adopter.
