Dora Boxer & Hound Mix Bristol, CT

Please let us introduce Dora. This darling little bundle of cuteness is one of 6 puppies born into a hoarding situation in a camper community. Thankfully, they were surrendered to our rescue and are now receiving lots of TLC in a loving foster home while getting them ready for adoption.

Dora is 13 weeks old and weighs in at just under 13 pounds. Her breed mix is a guess, but we think boxer, possibly mixed with hound. We're calling these puppies a “Heinz 57” litter...the best kind. One thing we ARE certain of is that Dora is one super sweet and loving puppy. Despite the living conditions that she was born into, she is a cuddly, easy going little girl who loves to be held. No 13 week old puppy can't be considered "house trained", but this smart little pup is coming along and learning the ropes.

Dora gets loves other dogs and everyone she meets. She is not fostered with children, but considering her sweet nature, we're confident that she'll do fine with kids. Of course, like all puppies, Dora has her playful side so children should be above toddler age. This sweet little girl who will thrive with a loving family to raise her and teach her to be everything a dog is meant to be.

Dora is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. She has also been started on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Her little doggy bag is packed and she's ready to head for her forever home.
