My name is Doodle the Poodle but at home my foster Mom calls me Dude. I like it, and I am warm and safe for the first time ever. I let my foster Mom know that I am happy by giving her kisses, lots of nice kisses!

And now, a few words from my foster mom:

Doodle the Poodle arrived a couple of weeks ago and is one beautiful guy. He is shy of hands until you pick him up and then he presses his whole body into yours and overcomes his shyness. I think Doodle just needs a little time and love to feel more confident. He is a pure bred, solid white poodle with those wonderful long poodle legs, which he hasn’t quite figured out how to properly manage yet!  He is currently living with other dogs and likes to cuddle with them, but ultimately he wants the love of his person. Either way I think he would be fine. He is currently living in an apartment and that is fine because he is very quiet. Doodle makes me laugh so hard when he gets excited because the wag starts in his tail…goes to his body…then he starts to wag his head back and forth and his ears go up. It is so great to see him express this happiness, I know there are so many more wonderful quirks and pieces of his personality to come out and I can’t wait to see them! A home without children is one best suited for the Dude due to his size and temperament.  He has decided that he likes to sleep with me which is fine because he doesn’t hog the bed or snore!
