Meet Dixie
Looking for a dog with style, sweetness, and just the right amount of sass? Meet Dixie, the pup who looks like she’s always dressed for a masquerade ball with her *gorgeous, unique markings*—seriously, she’s red carpet ready 24/7.
Dixie was rescued from Kentucky after landing on the euthanasia list (we can't believe it either—she’s too perfect!). Since then, she’s been thriving in foster care and is now looking for a forever home that will spoil her with cuddles, squeaky toys, and maybe a few throw pillows she can gently "redecorate" with.
A few of her favorite things:
- Squeaky toys, stuffies, and bouncy balls
- Rearranging shoes and blankets (she’s got a creative eye, but never chews!)
- Cuddling close and flashing her million-dollar smile
- Hanging with her humans (men, women, and respectful kiddos 5+)
- Making doggie friends – she’s pup-friendly!
What she’s learned so far:
- She's mastered "Sit" like a pro
- "Place" is coming along nicely
- "Paw" and "Down" are in progress
- Crate trained
- House trained
When she’s extra excited, she might try to nibble your fingers (she’s working on her manners, and chew toys help a lot!). No small animals for this lovely lady, though—her prey drive is a bit too enthusiastic for that.
