Rescued from the harsh reality of being stray and starving, Dixie and her sister, Daisy have shown remarkable resilience and a boundless capacity for love. They were discovered wandering alone, their tiny frames bearing the marks of hardship and hunger. Despite their difficult start, they radiate an undeniable sweetness and warmth. With time and care, they have blossomed into affectionate companions who form deep, loving bonds with their humans. Dixie's sister, Daisy, has found her forever home, so now it's her turn! Dixie is eager to please, though she can be a bit shy initially. It's clear that with the right support and a nurturing environment, her shy demeanor quickly gives way to her loving and playful nature. She thrives on positive reinforcement, and her treat-motivated personality makes training fun. Her foster family has done amazing things for her confience during her stay with them, and she is a totally different dog now! Dixie is fun-loving, but also enjoys a good snuggle session on the couch. While she has happily lived with other dogs in the past, she takes time to trust new friends. With slow and intentional introductions, it's been amazing to watch her enjoy playing outside in the yard with her new friends. This girl a testament to the incredible journey from neglect to a hopeful future filled with love and care! Please help us find Dixie the devoted forever home she deserves!
