Meet Dixie

Dixie is an amazing dog who, like most of us in rescue, just can’t catch a break. She was rescued from a high kill high volume shelter where we pulled her only hours before she was the be put to death.

She is a Sweet dog who does well on a leash, is house and crate trained, and will stay by your side off leash. She knows sit, and leave it as well.

She does not get along with other dogs, but is ok with cats when properly introduced, as she lives with one now. She has also been good with kids.

Dixie is a family dog who deserves a family who won’t let her down. She loves to run, and hike, and play almost as much as she loves to cuddle on the couch. She does well for periods of time in her crate, and she won’t disturb the neighbors.

She has a reduced adoption fee because she was partially sponsored.
