Senior Hearts Rescue and Renewal is the only licensed senior dog rescue organization in Western Pennsylvania. We do not have a shelter or a public facility. ALL of our dogs reside in foster homes in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area.

We are a 100% volunteer organization. Please respect our volunteers' time. If a dog is listed on PetFinder, he/she IS available for adoption. We cannot reply to messages, phone calls, and emails about a dog until we have received, reviewed, and approved an adoption application.

And now a few words from Diva:

I am 14 years young and weigh about 13 pounds. I'm the essence of a laid back dog!

I enjoy short walks and then long naps on the couch. I LOVE the couch. Though please know that I am not necessarily a lap dog. I prefer to have my space next to you on the couch.

I'm a friendly gal who isn't bothered by any humans I've ever met.

I like other old dogs. I'm not a fan of pushy, super active ones though.

I'm a quiet lady that is easy to care for. However you will most definitely hear my voice when it's dinner time.

I am in good health. I do have a few chronic issues that require management the rest of my life. I have dry eyes so I need eye drops twice a day. I also have allergies. Those are being controlled well with food, medicated baths, and medicine. I have no problem with any of that. I'm a very good girl for eye drops and baths. And eating, well I'm excellent at that too.

I recently had a dental surgery. I am up to date on vaccinations and current on preventatives for flea, tick, and heartworm. I am house trained and quiet when left alone.

I'm so laid back and chill that I can live with older respectful children.
