This cute little guy is Diesel, he's excited about everything and can't wait to get a family all his own. He's just a year so still lots of puppy energy. Diesel is like a little kid and needs somebody to teach him to be the BEST boy! Time and patience are what it takes. Diesel is a playgroup regular and does excellent some days, although on other days he can get a bit overstimated and need a break. Diesel's favorite style of play is ruff and rowdy, but he's also a fast boy who loves to run and chase if there is not someone to wrestle with. His energy may certainly be too much for some dogs, but he'd love another active dog to engage with! Animal Friends is happy to set up a meet and greet if you would like to see if Diesel's play style is a good match for the dog(s) in your home! Give Diesel a chance, it will so be worth it!

Diesel is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment. Dog Adoption Fees:
Puppies – 4 months and under: $200
Adult Dogs – 5 months and over: $95
Senior Dogs (7+ years old): $50

Breed listings: Please note that Animal Friends recognizes current research showing that the large majority of breed guesses on shelter dogs are inaccurate and that only a small percentage of an animal’s genetics makes up their physical appearance. People visiting the shelter in person or viewing animals on our website will note that all of our dogs are labeled as “Mixed Breeds” unless they have been DNA tested or are surrendered to the shelter with paperwork. Any potential breeds listed here on PetFinder are not assumed to be accurate and are merely a starting point for people to be able to search for a dog who may visually resemble a breed they are interested in. We feel that the best matches are made based on a dog’s individual personality and recommend families come meet our animals in person and/or utilize our Foster to Adopt program to see if that dog is a good fit for their home.
