Meet Diesel
**FOSTERED IN PENSACOLA**
Diesel is a tall, lean, 10-year-old frosty muzzle who is gentle-natured, calm, loving, and past all the shenanigans of youth.
Diesel came to us in very poor condition from a veteran who could no longer mentally or financially care for him. He was underweight, heartworm positive, had an upper respiratory infection, a gastrointestinal infection, AND a UTI too. Poor bub felt awful - that's ALL in the past now even the freeloader heartworms are gone too!
He's currently living in a foster home with many other dogs (mostly danes) and he does well with all as long as they are laid back non-dominant dogs.
He briefly lived in a foster home with a single mom with lots of dogs, cats, birds, farm animals and two very young toddler twin girls. He loved the girls and understood to be gentle and careful around them. However, he was NOT a fan of cats -so no cats for this guy.
He tends to warm up to women faster than men, but he loves his foster dad now. His current foster mom and dad are a retired couple who are home a lot and have mulitple dogs that he chills with all day, so he's never completely alone. He loves to have a blanket or stuffed to carry around for comfort - again a sweet boy.
According to his original owner - Diesel dealt with separation anxiety with her. However, he was the only dog there. We feel he would be perfectly fine in a home with another canine companion to keep him company. Diesel loves to have a blanket or stuffie to carry around for comfort too.
Diesel is potty trained and never one to be destructive or throw a party in the home.
All in all, Diesel is a laid-back, sweet, well-mannered frosty muzzle who would be so appreciative of a forever home that will allow him to relax in peace and comfort in his sunset years. He's well-behaved and just wants to be able to snuggle up on a comfy dog bed or couch next to his human, content just to be near them.
