We are thrilled to introduce the amazing Dhuma!
Big Girl = Big LOVE!!
Dhuma's journal entry Day #1:
"Where are you going? don't leave me here...
Ok fine... I'll just stay here in this yard.
Truck ride? Sure!
Having fun making new friends. They call me Dhuma (as in smokin hot babe) and my bff is Darby. We be living life on the road now.
Day#2 Where am I now? Lots of other small dogs here. I must be their leader. That's a big responsibility.
I don't mind those other dogs. They need me.
Cats? Strange little hissy things. Note to self: avoid cats on the inside. Pursue and investigate outside cats to see if they have treats. If they run - follow them. They will lead me to the treats.
Day#3 lots of nice people here, some feed me, some poke me with pointy things. Some take me out on parade up and down the street. Not sure what we are looking for but I don't think we have found it yet because we keep going out and looking for it. I keep trying to lead them back to my palace but they insist we must keep looking. Very odd.
Day #4 seems to be a strange celebration coming up, my subjects keep adorning me in Royal attire. I have been awarded wings, a gown, and my crown. I don't see any one else wearing a crown...confirming I am the leader of the small dogs.
Day#5
The buffet of good food continues.
Some of the searches say I'm getting better at walking.
feeling good making all kinds of friends : big hoomans are good. tiny hoomans I might knock over. They don't seem stable. But I'm learning. I just don't know how big I am.
As a leader I must be kind to all.
Day#6 They said my leadership training is almost complete and I need to write my bio so here goes:
I am gentle and loving leader but need some leash walking skills.
I am large, but don't really want to be in charge. 87 pounds of super sweet goof ball.
I love to go outside to do my business then circle back a few times to head for the sofa.
I'm Not high energy, but a strong puller when I want to go somewhere.
As big as I am, I'm not super confident and get spooked easily. Continued Obedience training will help me be a great member of the community and my best self.
I know the "sit"
I know the "down"
I give paw but not really when you ask for it. I am a spontaneous paw giver.
I'm working on "watch me"; "place"; and "heel."
(Aka the "Let's go...walk with me Dhuma" command.)
Please consider my size, exercise and training needs if you want me to be your leader. I've got the love thing all worked out.
