Meet Dex Mex!
Dex Mex is an 11-month-old, 72-pound Poodle mix who came to us from another shelter. This gentle giant is still figuring out the world and needs a patient, loving home to help him build his confidence. He's a bit on the shy side but has so much love to give once he feels safe.
Given his size, Dex would do best in a home with kids 12 and older. He's working on his leash skills and potty training, so he'll need some guidance and consistency to master them. With time, patience, and plenty of love, Dex will blossom into the loyal companion he's meant to be. Dex would do good in a home with other dogs his size or by himself as he feels indifferent towards other dogs and is much more interested in toys. However, he will need supervision when playing with stuffed toys, as he has a tendency to shred them.

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
