Approximate Age: 13 weeks as of Aug 25, 2011

Approximate Weight: 10 lbs. currently.  Devika will probably be in the neighborhood of 40-50  lbs. at maturity, but hard to say for sure.  As we have no information on parentage, breed postings are a best guess.


Currently Living at:  Foster home.  Please adopt Devika!

Hi!  My name is Devika!  I was all alone and scared in a shelter, when a really wonderful lady came and got me out.  She said that Lucky Dog was going to save me and take me to DC to find my forever home!  I don't know how I ended up homeless, but things are looking much better for me now! 


I'm still really young, so will need someone that can be home with me a good part of the day.  I may need to go potty during the night, but will try not to wake you too often:)  Since I am so young, I can easily learn to live with just about anything-other dogs, children, even cats!  I would love to go to school with you so I can learn all kinds of new tricks!  I will need lots of play time and exercise so I can burn off all my puppy energy.  At the end of the day, can I cuddle in your lap and take a pup nap???

I'm only 10 pounds right now, but should grow up to be about 40 or 50 pounds.  I don't need much to make me happy....good food and treats, some squeaky toys, and lots of belly rubs!





Like most puppies, Devika will need to work on her housetraining. She will also need to go to obedience school so she can grow into a well-socialized dog!  Devika's adopters will need to have her spayed by Nov. 15, 2011.
